MAY 2026 – Do you remember the version of yourself that you wanted to be when you were younger? The goals you had, what you thought the future was going to be like. It is incredibly easy to get off course in life, to think you have more time, to make mistakes, and to value the wrong things. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And I think that is partly why it is such a magical time when you’re little, as the future seems so vast and your capacity for imagination heightened. And as we age, the aperture of that vision begins (slowly) to close. Hopefully it focuses in on what is most important to you and with enhanced clarity. But, I think for a lot of us it can be pointed in a direction we never intended. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Life really is what you make of it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being able to trust that the path you are on is the right one requires faith and self-scrutiny. And it is not like there is only one route to take. Find things you are good at, find people who’s company you welcome, and commit to what you know is right. And bring that best version of yourself along for the ride. It might not be the same vision you had when you were in your teens or your twenties, but if it comes from you and makes you happy, you likely can’t go too wrong. <\/p>\n\n\n

Return to what you love, to what makes your life better, and to that sense of optimism and wonder from your youth. You can find it again if you look in the right places. So reconnect with the best of your past, free yourself from artificial limitations, and commit to one day of positive growth and see what comes of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Course correct and see where that takes you. And here’s to the next chapter of your life being a happy one!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
